Therapy Tailored to Your Needs

Every person is unique, with their own story, experiences, and needs.
For this reason, I use a holistic therapeutic approach that combines traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with third-wave CBT techniques, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. I also integrate elements from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), the person-centred approach, and trauma-informed techniques. The aim is to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual, offering a safe and supportive space for personal growth and overall wellbeing.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is one of the most widely used forms of psychotherapy. It is based on the understanding that our thoughts directly influence our emotions and behaviours. Through the therapeutic process, we learn to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge them, and replace them with more supportive and balanced thoughts. This approach helps reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and phobias, while also improving self-confidence and everyday functioning. At the same time, it equips you with practical skills that you can continue to use outside of therapy sessions.
Person - Centred Approach
In this approach, you are at the centre — your experiences, values, and needs. My role is to offer you a space of unconditional acceptance, empathy, and honesty, where you can feel safe to express yourself without fear of judgement. This approach emphasises your personal strengths and your natural capacity for growth. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, discover solutions that already exist within you, and strengthen your ability to make decisions that truly reflect your needs.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
DBT is a therapeutic approach that combines techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with principles of acceptance and dialectics. The method teaches skills for regulating intense emotions, improving interpersonal relationships, building resilience in coping with crises, and developing awareness through mindfulness. The goal of DBT is to help individuals find balance between accepting their current situation and working towards change, promoting greater emotional stability and healthier psychological functioning.
Trauma-Informed & Somatic Techniques
Trauma-informed approaches take into account the impact that psychological trauma can have on both the body and the mind, creating a safe and supportive space for trauma processing. Their aim is to help individuals heal their wounds with respect and understanding, without causing further fear or emotional overwhelm. Somatic techniques focus on reconnecting with the body and physical sensations, as trauma is often stored not only in the mind but also at a bodily level. Through practices such as breathing, relaxation, movement, and body awareness, these approaches help release stress and restore balance between body and mind.
